I have heard and seen darkness when face to face

We either run away or send this fear love
Because in these dreams there are no below or above

Just fear of what we have yet to learn from
I cannot just run

I must look the fear in the eye
Send it love it's do or die

I pay attention to my nightmares
I face it on over there

My nightmares shake me up it's simply not fair
To see the same demon over and a again

But realizing that there is no end
To the madness we choose to create in our mind

I send peace love and light to my fears gradually over time
I face them because I've held on to them so they are mind

I have to deal with it, there is no other way
Pay attention to what your nightmares say
And send it peace light and love until it goes away

This is the time to open up to others
Stop saying everyone is your sisters and brothers
Live like everyone was so
It takes me awhile to truly open up a lil' slow
But I know I have to go
I have to go and tell you my story
A little bit of where I'm from and my history
I come from a place of middle class means
Where you were allowed to express your dreams
Outwardly or in your creative expression
I had to write this to not keep them guessin'
I'm a Filipino- American Middle child Gemini
Writing comes easily to me with very little try
So I try to make an impact with the talent I'm given
And at the same time make a livin'
I'm into expressing my self in words that rhyme
I know that everything and everyone has their time to shine
This is probably mine
I used to take pride on being on my "grind"
But realized that was just a hip line...
I would use to express the fact that I put hard work in what I believe in
I may put up a front like I'm so self assured
But that would simply be absurd
I have my insecurities just like every other human being
I'm not always 100% happy with how I'm living

A college graduate I am
But my degree can't measure up to what I have planned
I think big and I back it up
I rarely get in a rut
If I do, I pick myself up because my spirit works that way
In social circles I may have a lot to say

Just depends on the vibes that I got

If you are hoping for a struggling story just go
This is not what I know

I write about the beauty in things
Because this is what my life actually brings

Some say I have a serious disposition
But the reality is I can hold onto the amazing life I'm given

Some can't comprehend how good this life is
So I write about all of this

I write about what I know
I am me and I choose to glow

I know about the positive vibes emanating out of this page
I know that there are people living in fear and rage

I also know what I focus on expands
So thinking about negative things is not part of my plans

I live a life that is full and filled with peace
I love this life and don't mourn over the deceased

Cus' I knwo they just go to a higher realm of space and time reality
This is why I don't fear death, some say that's insanity

But death is one less fear I have to worry about
So I live life to the fullest knowing death is really life, if you feel what I'm talking about

Life after death is so much easier than it is here
So with what you call death, I have no fear

In this lifetime I have seen a great fortune
Met many men and women of beauty

Met many energies of high frequency
In this lifetime there was unlimited prosperity

In this lifetime I met with many joys that grew over time

Yet in this day and age I chose to go pass the past

I moved along at a very fortunate place
Some say blessed with a handsome face
Yet that didn't' concern me as I kept my pace

But I ran my own race
Not concerned with what others thought
Because in this lifetime it was happiness that I got

It was happiness in the extravagant things
Yet inner peace in the simple things life brings

I was fortunate for people that were highly skilled and friendly
I was fortunate in this lifetime to have not one enemy

Yet the jealous dark forces tried to get me
But I didn't jump in, in this lifetime my greatest gift was clarity

Clear to see the highs and lows that life may bring to others
But I say peace to all my sisters and brothers
And to all my lovers

That may have despised me at the same time
But I am grateful for the lessons in this blessed lifetime

I lived a fortunate life some that physical beings would have a hard time grasping
But it was how I can laugh at myself that kept them laughing

I had good days and bad days here on earth
But this lifetime i felt more pleasure than hurt

I have seen hurt in other lifetimes
And learned from it accordingly

This lifetime I am grateful for the blessings and all that I see
In this lifetime I was unlimited good and prosperity

Abundance, joy, serenity, peace, laughter all abound

The Struggle of Being Human

So many challenges lie ahead
Living in the fear that rests inside my head

I thought I knew it all because of the massive amounts of books I read
But there’s a struggle with being human that goes without being said..

This struggle is found in trying to be normal and live like everyone else
When in reality your emotions are scattered all over the shelf

When your efforts and energy is not being recognized
You begin to think maybe it was all a lie

Maybe what you were taught to believe isn’t even real
I tried my best, but why is there still pain that I feel?

The pressure of trying to make people feel good
When there I was at the top with massive success, and alone I stood

The struggle of being here on earth is constant and never ending
God forgive me for the negative dark energy I'm sending

We all struggle and learn lessons until we get it right
Without dark there can be no light

The days ahead have me worried about things I begin to imagine
I think of it so much they begin to physically happen

So I stand here struggling like a regular average human being
Trying to change the perception of the suffering I’m seeing

These are the gloomy days when things are anything but terrific
You know what I mean, No need to get specific

The pain I see is real it is felt in the hearts of many people still here
There are days when I can’t escape this fear

The world is changing fast and detestation is all I hear
The news has a clever way of mirroring my inner fear

Can't stand the tragedy that is coming into my ear
Get back to me when things get more clear

When I was younger I wondered if anyone can hear me
The more adversity that came my way I felt I might as well make history

This is not about being the best
For being the best may have caused more stress

In a life where I had to find my own path
Have you seen me angry? You wouldn’t dare feel my wrath

My joys began coming in forms of simplicity
And to the people that would actually listen to me

For my words spoke to ages young and old
I began studying from great masters that told me that words were gold

As you speak so you become
So I decided to put out creative work just for fun

And decided to write about how I face my fears head on, and others run
I talked about how courage and building your own identity

Little did I know my higher self would be a friend to me
Success and things I wanted I spoke with confidently

I ran towards what I believed would serve me well
But the higher up I got the more afraid I got if I fell

Living a life as the unseen middle child son
From my troubles and worry all I wanted to do was run

Torn up knee taken away from a sport I had a passion for
A family torn apart hurting causing suffering to me at my core

The pain of yelling and fears trying to be brought down to me
The suffering I kept within me so everyone wouldn't see

I survied the dark days, and now they ask me how?
I choose to speak of expansion because the only way to go is up now
I think they can here me now.
